For Zeke: Green is landcoast cells, blue is seacoast. The cells are AREA weighted per cce request but not
Fractiionally weighted. That is if a cell is 90% land and 10% water, this weighting is NOT applied. I think thats right for what he is after

Ick, monthly anomaly charts are unreadable. You should attach annual (or 12-month running mean) charts as well, so we can more readily interpret it without having to download the underlying data.

No sweat, as long as I dont have to make pretty charts I’m cool. It helps with testing to do these excercises with the API.
Comparing graphs: looks like “red” is land, “blue” is sea, “green” is merged.
